FINAL - IMAGES

ANIMATIONS

ABOVE- LEVEL
This is a view of the above floor. The camera follows the stairs throughout the building, as it forces an individual to tour all of the building. I created a complex series of staircases and levels to suit Banksy's painting. This communicates the concept of hiding something, and keeping something secret - hence the complicated floor levels and pathways.

Also the distinct diagonally shaped structure of the building, was supposed to convey the word "dissatisfaction." I did this through mimicking the contour lines of an unsatisfied and saddened person's facial expression. As there eyebrows and facial structure would be tilted (frowning, sad) the lines are meant to match that.

BELOW LEVEL
This is a view of the bottom level. This level was to covey a cold feeling, through the lack of furniture and cold stony material. Also the several layers of separation from the cluttered upper level is supposed to depict the idea of lonesome - as displayed by MUECK's painting.

STEP 2

 STEP 2 A
This was an experimental sketch of the famous rapper Kanye West, wearing a suit embedded with several trademark symbols and images from his discography and past as an artist. His earlier and most renowned work are displayed on his left side (bear) to show his musical origin which I believe he still carries within himself - despite his now infamous and "darker" transition into his newer styles which still display his great talent as a musician, although reveals his tormented celebrity lifestyle that he has grown into.

STEP 2 B
This is the Parthenon which was built in ancient Athens, Greece during the reign of Pericles. This is my favorite piece of architecture for several reasons. Firstly, according to Plutarch, this building was 'rushed' to be made and was made in under 15 years - which is incredibly efficient considering the lack of technology had in this time period. Secondly, this building was known to harness the use of optical illusions by using bent columns and ridges to portray a wider and deeper inside. And lastly, the fact that this building is still standing and that up until today's advancements in architecture, we still cannot figure out how the properly/accurately rebuild this great building.

STEP 2 C
This is a photo that I had taken of my grandma and older brother. I had only taken this when i was a toddler/baby. To me, this photo would be the most beautiful photo I have ever taken, as it captured the immense love my grandma had for my brother and I even when we were not old enough to understand what love was. She is trully a beautiful person.
